Questions:
-
Can the bouncy castles go indoors?
Yes! The bouncy castles can go indoors but you must check the height of the ceiling before booking. The ceiling must be higher than the height of the castle booked. Heights of all our castles are on our website.
Are you fully insured if a child that gets injured is to blame?
We carry 1.5 million pounds worth of public liability cover, however as per our terms and conditions (we cannot be held liable for any injuries caused whilst the castle is in your care. You are the sole person responsible for the castle and it's use and therefore should anything happen, you are liable to a claim as the hirer. Our public liability covers us against set up faults or faulty equipment etc.
How much notice to I need to give to book a castle?
Online bookings need to be 4 days in advance minimum; however, you can call us on 07784 827278 and we will be able to arrange a castle for you quickly as we always have something available.
Do you charge for cancellation?
You can cancel a booking with no charge up to 3 days before your booking date. After this time unfortunately we cannot refund the deposit unless the cancellation is due to extreme weather conditions.
When the castle is delivered, do I have to set it up myself or do you do it?
The delivery person(s) will completely set up the castle, ensuring safety, and then leave it in your control. When we turn up to collect the castle, we will also dismantle it.
How many children/adults are allowed on the castle?
Each castle has different limits. Please note children's castles should never be used by heavier adults, remember the hirer is responsible for any damage caused by not following our guidelines.
Is it ok to put a bouncy castle on my lawn, will it cause much damage?
We actually prefer to put the bouncy castle on a lawn area. For safety reasons we must hammer several securing pegs to hold the castle down during use. The holes left over from the securing pegs will disappear after a few days.
Can you put a bouncy castle on a concrete floor?
No, there is no way to safely secure the pegs.
How long do I get the keep the bouncy castle?
We usually deliver the castles first thing in the morning and then collect them later that day after 6 pm. If you want it for more than one day, please mention this when you book, and we can accommodate.
Am I allowed to hire this castle from you and then charge people to use the castle?
Yes, you are, but you must bear in mind that you are in charge and must make sure that people who use the castle are safe, don't overload the castle to try to make extra money. As the hirer you are liable for any damages.
My garden slopes a bit - will that be OK?
Yes. A slight slope is not a problem. Typically, we will place the entrance of the unit at the top of any slope. If the slope is more than a 5% gradient, we may not be able to set up in that location. Your installer may request an alternate location so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is the most important consideration when selecting a set up area.
What are your hours of operation?
Our office is always open. You can book online 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our customer support lines are open continually on the weekends.
My party is tomorrow. Can I still get a rental?
Yes, give us a call and we will work it in.
How do you inflate the bouncy castle when you have delivered it? Will I be able to put it down?
Our bouncy castles are inflated using electric fan blowers. They are simply plugged in to a suitable socket in your house or outbuilding; we supply long extension cables and power breakers with all castles, so you don't need a socket nearby. To deflate the castle, simply unplug the fan and it will slowly collapse (make sure nobody is using the castle at the time!).
What happens if it’s raining or particularly bad weather on the day of the booking?
If the weather is bad/raining, then call us and we'll decide what to do or we may call you to say whether we will deliver or not. If the booking is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a full refund on your deposit.
How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?
The dimensions of our castles are shown on our size and suitability section of each product, please also allow an additional 5 feet both back and front and at least 2 feet at the sides.
What kind of access do you need when you deliver the castle?
The castles are wheeled into position using a trolley, however some of our large inflatables such as our base jump and drop slide require drive-on access for our van, as these cannot be transported by trolley. Therefore, we will need a standard size path to get the castle in to your garden or venue. If you have a lot of steps or a tight entrance way, please let us know so that we can assess the access. If you have any concerns regarding this don't hesitate to contact us at 07784 827278.
Are your units safe?
Yes, they are designed from the ground up with safety in mind. In addition, we review all safety rules with you prior to use. While no one can guarantee safety, we do everything we can to promote safe use of our products to ensure your day is filled with fun. All our inflatables are PIPA tested which is a recognised safety test nationwide.
What if it rains?
Some of our castles come with shower covers and all our extension leads are fully water resistant so showers won't stop play, however exercise caution before allowing your children to use them in the rain.
